Extra Expense
Claim Ally will assist in the Extra Expense portion of your claim you sustain due to direct physical loss of or damage to property at premises which are described in the Declarations and for which an Extra Expense Limit of Insurance is shown in the Declarations.
What is Extra Expense?
Extra Expense means necessary expenses you incur during the “period of restoration” that you would not have incurred if there had been no direct physical loss or damage to property.
For example: additional cost of restarting and likely relocating the business while the original property damage is repaired. The extra expense coverage will reimburse the costs above and beyond the normal operating costs.
